Max Allard is a banjo and guitar player from Chicago. He performs as a solo artist and in the bands From the Start and Bushel & Peck. He has performed in Chicago at various venues (Wishbone, Uncommon Ground, The Grafton, Schubas), farmers markets, block parties and festivals. Max is the winner of the 2018 RockyGrass Banjo Competition and the 2019 FreshGrass Banjo Award.

We are part of a Teen Music Showcase at Schubas Tavern on Sunday, October 13. This event is put on by Livin’ Live. Four bands in three hours with some spoken word to ease us through the transitions. Doors at 5, show starts 5:30. $10.

Max and Otto will join their friends Megan and Maddie Cody and their band The Cody Sisters for a couple of songs in their set for the C-U Folk Festival in Urbana.They will play at the Iron Post at 9pm on Friday, October 25.

Private Residence in Wicker Park, Chicago, 8pm

Join Matt Brown, Max Allard & Otto Allard in a co-bill with The Cody Sisters for an evening of acoustic music in a breathtaking loft in Wicker Park. This house concert will feature a set from each band plus delicious homemade treats between the sets. The location is a private home and seating is limited. Contact us to reserve your seats and receive the address. $20 suggested donation at the door.
